TACHOSOFT'S PRIVACY POLICY

1.    Online privacy practices

The right to privacy is important to Tachosoft.

We are keen to strike a fair balance between confidentiality of information including the personal data of individuals who deal with us and ensuring that Customer’s obtain full value from our Website and Services we sell. 

2.    Accounts

Customers are asked to set up an account with us in order to buy Services. 

We ask that each Customer provides us with the details required and shown on the signing up page. 

We use the details in order that we can provide the Services although we will not have access to any details used for payments as these are processed by our payment service providers. The terms of our payment service providers are to be found on their websites and if you have any concerns about the payment process then please contact them using the published contact details. 

When a Customer sets up an account with us we will ask for the name of the business, the name of the person setting up the account, the business address and an email contact address. 

We understand that some of the information provided will be personal data and this policy sets out what we intend to do with that data.

The information provided to us will be kept confidential and will be used only to support the Customer relationship with us. Other than as mentioned below we do not disclose or sell Customer information.

3.    Use of Information (including Personal Data)

We may use the personal data given for future email correspondence, for support, and from time to time notification of enhanced or new Services which we offer. Such use is strictly in accordance with the (UK) Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.

If any of our Customers does not want to receive future marketing emails from us please inform us by email at privacy@tachosoft.net. 

Any such marketing and advisory email comes from us with an easy to use unsubscribe instruction and a Customer can be removed from our lists at any time although this can take up to 30 days to carry into effect. 

Personal data will never be sent to any third party. Tachosoft (The Service Operator) will have access to Customer’s Computer Files and the Account information as the Files are processed by their software. 

We have ensured that there is robust security within our own systems in the UK and also in all communications between Tachosoft (The Service Provider) and ourselves.

It is only Tachosoft UK Limited that will market to Customers about Services bought from us.

4.    Cookies

A ‘cookie’ is a message given to a web browser by a web server. The message is then stored by the browser in a text file called cookie.txt. Each time the browser requests a page from the server, this message is sent back. A cookie’s main objective is to identify users and personalise their visit to a website by customising web pages for them, for example by welcoming them by name next time they visit the same site. 

We use cookies on our Website and each user of our Website will be expected to confirm acceptance that the Website may place a cookie on the computer or other device from which the user is communicating with us.
